These are to Certify whom it may concerne That John Goodall, Gunner belonging to ye Trayne of Artillery in the Army of his Ex[cellen]cie the Lord Fairfax, served faithfully from the beg[inn]ing of ye Warre vnder the said Comand, vntill he was slayne before Pomfrett Castle. In wittnesse hereof I haue hereunto sett my hand this 26o of Febr[uary] 1648 the 11th day of his moneth being the day of his death
