This inclosed is a desire from my true Friend yo[u]r noble father to you, that you will be pleased to vse yo[u]r power to gett my poore neece Tresham some allowance, that shee & her poore child may not perish, yf her father or brother had not been both killed & ruined by the late warre, and my self lost fortie thousand pounds, I should not haue troubled you in this kind for a neece of mine, all I shall say is, for what fauour you doe this my poore neece, I shall euer acknowledge, and euer be to you & yo[u]r virtuous wife,
