Regis CAROLI Secundi, Angliae, &c xxiiii,

At a Meeting of the Right Honourable S[i]r George Waterman Kn[igh]t Lord Maior of the City of London,

and other His Majesties Justices of the Peace within the said City.

This Day upon perusal of the Certificates of the Services and Sufferings of the husband of Elianer Ellis formerly in his late Majesties Wars, and in Consideration of hiser great Necessities, It is Ordered, That hereafter there shall be allowed and paid unto the said Elianer Ellis (by the Treasurer for that purpose appointed) the Pension or Sum of Fifty shillings per Annum, for and towards his Relief out of such Moneys as shall from time to time be received upon the Tax now, or shall hereafter be rated on the several Parishes of this City, towards the Relief of such Persons who have been wounded or suffered in the Late Wars, according to a late Act of Parliament, Entituled, An Act for the Relief of poor and maimed Officers and Souldiers, who have faithfully served his Majesty and his Royal Father in the late Wars. And it is further Ordered, That one Quarters Allowance (after the same Rate) be presently made to the said Elianer Ellis and henceforward quarterly, as by the Roll of the Names of divers Pensioners (to which the said Justices have set their Hands (may appear.
