The Bearer who was a souldior vnder the Comaund of Collonell Robinson in the late warrs is become a fitt p[er]son in my Judgm[en]t to receave some Competent releiffe from the maymed souldiors mize for I know him to bee a very poore & necessitous p[er]son haueing a great Charge of Children without any visible mayntenance for the same if Charity of well disposed people & his owne labor w[hi]ch cannot (by reason of hurts he receaved in his ma[jes]tyes service) bee any thing Considerable. If my occasion be soe incurious to mee as to debarr me from the happynes of yo[u]r good Converse att o[u]r next Quarter sessions I shall entreate yow to assist this obiect of Charity w[i]th your comendation haueing not else besids harty respects to kind [?Thanks] & reall service to yo[u]r selfe from
