These are to Certifie all whome it may Concerne that the Bearer hereof Edward Jolly was a Souldier vnder the Com[m]and of Capt[ain] Harvey in my Regiment in ye late vnhappy Warrs & behaued himselfe Faithfully & well, & being now poore & Indigent I thinke him a Fitt object of Charity.

Giuen vnder my hand & Seale the 22th Day of May 1676.
