To the worshipfull The justices of the peace for the County of Denbigh.

Theis are to Certifie that the bearer hereof Dauid Lloyd late of Llanyfydd has serued his late Ma[jes]tie of blessed memory as a Com[m]on souldier in the late vnhappy warres in my fathers Company whereof I was Lieftenn[an]te in the Regiment of Col[one]l Hugh Wynne for many yeares, and has not to my knowledge beene any way allwayes reputed very Loyall and therefore I humblie recom[m]end him to yo[u]r worshipps considerac[i]on as a p[er]son fitt in my Judgem[en]t to receaue a penc[i]on according to the late Acte for Reliefe of faythfull & Loyall souldiers
