Wee whose names are hervnto Subscribed doe by these pr[e]sents certifie all whom it may concerne that the bearer hereof John Wright of Aston A Corporall for the space of Fower yeares and A halfe in the Regiment of S[i]r Thomas Aston of Aston Barronett Collonell to A Reg{iment} of horse for Kinge Charles the First of Famous m{emory} And never as yett receiued any pay for his said s{ervice} wee therefore humbly Entreate that hee may be releiued in that case and hee and wee shall eu[er] pray
