I Colonell Harbert Morley doe hereby certify that [Henry] John Adler husband of Cicely Adler was a soldier in my Troope and was taken prisoner in the service of the Parliament about the yeare 1643 and dyed in prison at Oxford, and that shee deserves to be relieved according to the Orders & directions of the Act of Parliament in this behalfe. Dated the nyneth of July 1656.
