Wee whose names are subscribed doe hereby Certifie vnto yo[u]r worshipps that Arthur Griffith of Dole y Merddin in the County of Denbigh was a souldier to his late Ma[jes]tie of blessed memory vnder the Com[m]aund of Col[one]l John Blodwell and was wounded and maymed in his said Ma[jes]ties service att Ciscestor where we were then pr[e]sent & thereby made vncapable to labor whereby to gett a livelyhoode or subsistence to live vpon or to mainteyne himselfe which we att his desire humbly Certifie to yo[u]r wor[shi]pps that you may take such care for him as the law in that behalf requires & Rest yo[u]r Wor[shi]pps humble Servants.
