Theise are to certifie all whome yt may concerne that Anthoney Baker of the Citty of Newe Sarum in the county of Wiltes clothworker hath been seu[er]all yeares in the service of the Com[m]onwealth as a soldier vnder the com[m]and of Maior Ludlowe & hath likewise behaved himselfe as a an [sic.] honost [sic.] & faithfull soldier in the s[ai]d service, & likewise that he was listed as a soldier vnder the com[m]and of Col[one]l Dore for the s[u]ppr[e]ssinge of the late insurrecc[i]on att Sarum aforesayd at which time the s[ai]d Anthony Baker broake his Legge to the his greate losse & damage he beinge a [illegible] poore man & haveing a wife & children, Given vnder o[u]r hands the one & thirtieth day of March in the yeare of o[u]r Lord 1656
