Knowe all men hereby that the bearer hereof Alice Clyfton had her husband pressed out of o[u]r hamlet of Pilling being of Garstang constablry who hath now kind of thing to live vpon no not so much as a hen and hath a Child about 3 yeres old not so much as a howse but as her poore father hath taken her in but is of noe ability to support her or himself but desires some maintenance by the honorable com[m]issioners or Justices of Peace. In testimony whereof we neighbors have subscribed
