These may Certifie whom It may Concerne That Abraham Lister of Wommersley In the Parish of Berrey and Countey of Lanckaster was a True and Faithfull Souldier In the Late Ma[jes]ties Service vnder my Comand and in my owne Troope And hath neu[er] since deserted the same. I Therefore desire you His Ma[jes]ties Justices of Peace to Shew to The Barer hereof All Lawfull fauor you Can And Thereby you shall obleige mee.
