The certificate against Henry Draper of Newburgh, Lancashire, Michaelmas 1667

These are to certifie his Ma[jes]t[y]s Justices of Peace and quor[um] that Henery Drap[er] of Newbrough haith rec[eive]d his penc[i]on for lame should[e]r since the beginning it is conceiued hee is not w[i]thin the Act by reason hee haith three akers of free land or aboue by sides hee the s[ai]d Henery sould moneyes which s[ai]d then pound doth come in yearely and the said Henery Drap[er] doth keepe a grosser shop as to all this that is written Raiphe Taylor will testifie vpon oath if hee bee called to it
